Om Nom Merge: The Mathematics behind the game

hello friends welcome back. Om Nom Merge
is a game where you merge two similar cute looking monsters called nommies to
create a new upgraded Nommie. this is a very simple concept where you keep on
merging the nommies; till you reach the highest level nommie; which is level 49 in
current scenario. I don’t know but I see very fascinating mathematics behind the
simple game. don’t you believe me. come I’ll show you the mathematics that
I have understood behind this game please subscribe to the channel if you

well know that this game works on collection of gold which is received
when the nominees gather fruits. these gold can then be used to purchase more
nommies who can be merged to unlock nominees of high-ranking. higher rank
nominees have higher fruit gathering speed; which means to produce more gold
per second. here you can see the number of gold per second each Nommie produces.
can you see a correlation between the number of gold produced per second for
each Nommie. looking closely you can see that the gold per second for each Nommie
is a geometric progression with a factor of approximately 2.11.
the graph of this factor shows an exponential growth. so for each
additional level the gold produced each second will almost double. further can
you tell that what will be the maximum attainable gold per second in this game? very simple right. there are 15 slots in total and if all 15 slots have
level 49 nommies then a maximum of 42645 trillion gold per second
can be generated. And if double your gold earning is enabled then a total of 85290 trillion gold per second can be generated. that’s a huge
quantity of gold anyway. but what do you do with all this gold.
level 49 is already the maximum attainable.
keep thinking. that’s all for today friends. hope you all enjoyed this episode.
thanks for watching. like, subscribe, comment and share for more
