  1. Tax credits are is NOT the same as "paying the company" to be in the state. What a dishonest channel MSNBC is. Then again, liberals will believe anything. They are so gullible.

  2. With a Moron like Walker running this state, and a Crook like Trump running our country what kind of actual smart decisions can expected to be made in the best interests of the working class taxpayers?

  3. People are usually careful of promising things they know they can't deliver on.
Trump's "genius" lies in the fact that he has no problem with making those kinds of promises. He can lie completely without shame, and it works REALLY WELL on a surprisingly large amount of people.
And once they have been fooled, they would rather die than admit it to themselves.

  4. should this man take the credit? lets see. my understanding: foxconn has been under pressure for years on many things including but not limited to following, so it had plan to phase out from ch. like samsung, many years back. with its size and deep involvement, not easy of course. these are the obvious reasons : 【1./ very slim margin on making a cell phone like iphone, per a media interview with its owner 郭台铭, he couldn't pay workers more to keep them happy . 【2./ since foxconn makes iphones, a us icon, it became a target from various chinese elements like ch government motivated/implied rally is one whenever there is any dispute between us and ch. samsung was in the same situation so it moved to vietnam. 【3./ if iphones are banned or boycotted from ch sales, the remaining major users are in us continent, so why not make them there. 【4./ ever-increasing cost of labour in ch that prompted 郭台铭 transitionallly to introduce more robots to replace workers and to reduce problems from workers. would this new us plant hire a lot of workers? would he pay us workers more? no, i would say. 【5./ because of ever increasing overall-cost in ch, it splited part of production lines from longhua, shenzhen to henan province with local government subsidies and there ample of lower pay workers are available. did not seem worked out well with lower knowledge and skill from them. and the henan people, we all know…. (ask china hands) 【6./ unfortunately, both plants are targeted from time to time. several workers killed themselves (comitted suicide) or got hurted on personal reasons, like breaking up with gbf's or familiy issues, traffic accidents, foxconn had to take care of all expenses and to hand out a bunch money to the related crying families to settle. they used to called up hundreds of people on bus from across the country to block up the plant until paid. so time to leave ch. PS: i just come up w a set of arbitrary numbers. @$8/hr x 8hrs x 6 (exch rate) x 20 days = RMB¥7700 +/- per head – – – a lot of grants and subsidies n tax holiday vs in Ch ¥3500/mo/head/min today +++a lot of unbooked expenses = "DEAL" good to 2040.

  5. That state is also going to have to build new homes and apartments for all of the people that company is going to bring w/them from their country to work at that site.🤣

    MAGA➡️ Making Asia Great Again!

  6. This is an embarrassment. Stupid decision after stupid decision. We look like clowns on the world stage.

  7. 1). Foxconn are laying off 10,000 workers whose jobs will be automated
2). Foxconn is a Taiwanese company. This will not please President Xi as mainland China and Taiwan are sworn enemies. So this plus tariffs will make Xi really mad.

  8. Wisconsin will not see one penny in taxes for years to come. Great economic move. Scott Walker, brilliant economist, creator of a state teacher shortage and failed to obey his oath of office to call for special elections in open districts until ordered to multiple times by the courts. Yeah another Trump "super genius."

  9. Giving them tax incentives isn’t paying them… So fake. Infrastructure spending to improve their highways? That’s also not a payment to Foxconn. The only thing this video has confirmed it the liberal media bias.

  10. Yes we have a do-everything-behind-CLOSED-Doors governor , not too bright, and open to all cons who come along. The brainwashed Trumpites are behind him. When will the greed insanity end?

  11. "Skills Gap. 6 million positions open nationwide." Sounds like a Sanders-type free further training deal would be a good plan…. Do good plans get Brain Time in Donnie's Whirld?

  12. Yes, subsidize industries while complaining about other countries' subsidies. That is the American way.

  13. Trump did this with Carrier and look how that turned out! Trump is a gasbag pushing all the buttons for his racist and terribly uninformed base of Trump's Cult! Pathetic if you fall for it!

  14. For 3 billion they could have just given $60,000 to 50,000 people in that state and that money would have gone directly into the states economy.

  15. If there are so many of these great jobs going unfilled then why NOT spend the 4billion on education???

  16. The state of Wisconsin needs to wake up it sounds to me like their paying more for jobs than the jobs are worth.

  17. Why not just give $300,000 each to 13,000 Americans and see what happens.. if you are going to gamble $4billion then at least keep the money inside Wisconsin

  18. Conservative thinking = the Govt shovels huge amounts of money into a corporations hands and the corporation produces less than zero benefit to society CAPITALISM is great! The Govt directly pays half as much for healthcare, college, childcare, jobs training SOCIALISM BAD! Brilliant!

  19. Close enough to the Illinois border for workers from that state to take advantage of the Wisconsin taxpayers. Illinois pays nothing to get those jobs for their workers. Thank you, Scott Walker! Wisconsin pays the freight.

  20. Don’t forget to mention that they used emanate domain to take land from citizens to GIVE it to Foxconn for FREE.

  21. Foxconn has said the there should be 3000 jobs created with a promise that it COULD grow to 10000 more jobs. The issue as someone that in the tech field myself is that some of those jobs are tech demand jobs that need people with a college degree in IT and computer science. The issue i find with fellow Americans is that most young adult need to major in computers fields jobs. There was a study done that by 2020 there would be more jobs in usa for computer jobs then people in the usa for these jobs, so i urge Americans to go back to school to get an associate's or Bs degree in computer.

  22. I feel sorry for the landowners and farmers who are getting forced out. Political prostitutes who are stealing your money

  23. Please do not use HIGH LANGUAGE LEVEL to explain this…

trump supporters BARELY MADE IT TO KINDERGARDEN….

  24. fake news this is where PMSnbc shines at fake news the builders pay taxes the truckers pay taxes the workers pay taxes , all the fuel burnrt is taxes al the materials are taxed , PMSnbc second most fake get a grip haters , might loose lol ok dumdasses lets not build it lol

  25. Why don't Repuck's give up State and Federal land to this Corporate Welfare Co. FoxxConn, instead of steeling from community HomeOwner's.

  26. Those two women in New Jersey have done for more for America then president Trump destroying America are those two women got the community the police together and everybody talkin and cleaning up their town that's so great president Trump look pathetic

  27. Wisconsin got conned. Walker gave the farm away to a FOREIGN company. Now he is spending millions to advertise to Illinois to bring in workers to fill the top paying positions at Foxcon. Wisconsin taxpayers must be stupid to keep him in office. Not only are they paying for the next 24 years for this company to be
there, but they are paying to draw people from other states to get the higher paying positions. That same money could have been spent on education for the Wisconsin taxpayers to fill the top paying positions. This is reminiscent of the Tommy Thompson years, when a lot of money was spent in Janesville with no guarantees and it cost the taxpayers dearly. Foxcon has already started to hedge on their commitment. It will be interesting to see what the actual screwing amounts to. Bet there isn't a clause in the contract to protect the taxpayers from unfulfilled promises. And taxpayer money will be paid long after Walker is ousted. This will be the most expensive political stunt yet and of course it has the Trump thumb print on it.

  28. in the next years there will be no new jobs for workers at Foxconn – it will only be robots working!

  29. Spending Billions to create jobs!! Jobs your State will pay for, If you all believe that? I have a field of Gold that I would like to Sell you all..Lol…Wake😴 up Trump is laughing at you & bragging of how easy its been to take your hard earned money 💰

  30. What's the GOP party doing, it seams like they're all sitting on there hands & mouth!!…

  31. Best thing is that this is pure socialism. Everything they claim the democrats did poorly they are doing worse. Swamp = Pruit , Email server and not secure phones = Trump , Tarriffs ect

  32. Yeah and your ok with spending 1 billion dollars to build a library thats going to employ about 200 ppl and it honor of the worst President in the country's history

  33. Well the trumpsters elected this crook and perhaps the "may" learn from it but I doubt it. They are with out a doubt the dumbest humans on earth. And they got conned and continue to support this loser.

  34. And most of the people who own land where that plant is going to be are getting robbed by the government and 🦊 CONS

  35. Cut checks to the citizens and watch them create jobs, improve communities, foster the common good, or cut 2 checks, one to Ryan the other to Foxconn. Problem is only one of them is holding the pen.

  36. wish that massive flaming slab of rock hurtling towards us from space would hurry up…as humans we have started to get very silly and self important,

  37. And they kicked out many families with imminent domain. Destroying people's dreams without paying the owners, in that town.

  38. if you think trump or US gov got conned that'd be too naive. if journalists and panel economists can do the math, you think the long running gov can't? the truth behind curtain is that trump and related gov officers all got "paid off" personally. do you really think trump would mind selling out america to get a huge piece of pie for himself or his family (while conning american people to believe that he's created even more jobs for america)? there's always a personal benefit he aims for in everything he does, in any form. anyone who thinks trump really cares about american people is seriously delusional. he is nothing but a filthy calculative lowlife and a businessman of the worst kind.

  39. Yeah Hitler will pay for it…..suckers….let's all go into a depression together….racist fools

  40. Dump trump will damage. Education. Homeland security. Nation. Weather. National relationship. Trade . Economy. Ethics. Democracy. Jail him before he destroy America and the world Number 1 terrorist.

  41. This will be a disaster. Some jobs at one point, lots of excitement, but if someone can be bribed to locate, the can be bribed to relocate. If it is like my neighbor city, you will have a huge site open for years with a skeleton crew, just to meet the demands of the agreement… And then when it expires, it closes.

  42. It's going to cost the state billions while destroying ecosystems for plants and animals, while likely creating many many more very low paying jobs. We will be the world's next China, as China picks itself up out of being seen as the world's toiler. They own our debt and they are using it to their advantage. This is why trump's destroying our economy, and making it so that the rich will become richer with his tax cut while in 5 years our own taxes go up. We are being made to live in a caste system by a would be dictator.

  43. At 5:35 this man said $95k a year was a relative decent wage. Whether they are on left or right they still do not get it. Not sure which planet this man is from-$95k a year is beyond a "relative decent wage".

  44. this is not newsworthy.Trump could save a kitten from death and still get ridiculed for saving the fleas on its back as well. when will MSM learn that this jargon they pump out is not changing anyones mind. this jargon is all they have. its just fear tactics for the people who dont do their own research. lets not doubt foxconn project yet. if it works it will be great for the state.

  45. Wait just a minute….. there was a documentary about TRUMP/Republican supporters about to loses their land to build FOXCONN and they did…OHH CRAP……….

  46. The 3 billion is a tax credit. The government just isn't going to collect it. They're NOT paying them 3 billion – they're just NOT charging that amount.

It is a strategic way many states are managing to stay competitive & win businesses to their home state thru the use of tax incentives. Look at the impact of Texas on California- same thing.

13,000 workers x's average yearly salary of 54 thousand = 702 MILLION dollars per year. Not to mention all the taxable revenue & jobs for the construction industry. These would range from building the roadways to & from the facility, as well as those paid in actually constructing the business itself.

There's also benefits for the manufacturing industry who are providing the raw materials to build it, as well as creation or growth of existing business to support 13,000 daily workers.

Not sure about the cost breakdown on this one? Looks pretty good to me… Am I missing something? Seriously?

  47. 4 billion divided by 13000 people yikes who will pay this 4B? How much cut did Ryan and Trump get for the tax breaks?
