HOW TO MERGE HARD DISK PARTITIONS IN WINDOWS [DO IT THE EASY WAY!]

Hello there, Hope you are doing well Welcome to the computing geek channel Today we are going to look at how to
merge hard disk partitions in windows In my case here, my 1TeraByte hard drive is
divided into 3 partitions. The Volume C is 121GB in size, Volume E is 518GB in size and volume F is 290GB in size. I plan to merge these 3
partitions into 1 volume. The key thing to note here is that you
have to first back up your files or data in the Volumes other than Volume C. For my computer, the Volumes E and F are of concern. You can choose to back up your
data using any of these two ways: Either transferring the
files to disk C or volume C OR, you transfer to an external
storage like another computer maybe via a LAN connection or an external hard disk or a flash disk. The method is as easy as
ABC as you are going to see. The first step is to
open the Control panel, Open System and Security, Then under the Admin Tools Section, Click on Create and Format
hard disk partitions. In this window, right click on New Volume
F, then click Delete Volume. A warning pops up informing me that
all data on this volume will be lost. That is why backing up data before starting
the merging process is very important. I confirm by clicking Yes. Now you can see,
the unallocated space is 290GBs. I also delete the New Volume E using the
same procedure as in Volume F previously. Now, the unallocated space becomes 800GB. Now, in order to merge this
800GB space with Volume C, I right click on disk C,
then click on Extend volume. This wizard will help us to
increase the size of volume C. I click Next. Here, the 800GB is selected. so I click Next. Then click on Finish. You can now see that the computer consists
of a single volume C, 930GB in size. Now everything is done. Close the disk management window, Here at the File Explorer,
you can see that Disk C is now 930GBs. So guys, that’s it for this video,
