Fake AliExpress ‘pure’ nickel strip – tested and refunded

Fake AliExpress ‘pure’ nickel strip – tested and refunded

More parts of the puzzle just in from
China, this is some nickel strip which is not for cats. I’m gonna try welding some batteries together. Okay that’s not pure nickel. I can tell, this is steel. As I
suspected it turned out to be just nickel plated steel strip, and the way to
prove that and get your money back on Aliexpress is quite simple:
take some sharp medium grit sandpaper cut a bit of your strip off abrade it
give it a good rub that’ll get some of the nickel coating
off. Drop it in a glass of water with some ordinary table salt to
speed up the corrosion process and then I just took a picture of the glass with
the rusty strip sent that off as proof and got my money back. So if you want to
get so free nickel-plated strip for putting batteries together I’ll put a
link in the description below and you can use that and there’s a
very good chance that they’re just going to continue selling that stuff – plated
strip as pure nickel – and judging by the the comments nobody actually
bothers to check, they all just write Woo! goods arrived, I’m happy, haven’t
tested it haven’t checked it, five stars blah blah blah blah blah. On the other
hand the the way that the Aliexpress refund system works is
theoretically honest vendors could be scammed by dishonest buyers, but
in this case I think it’s perfectly fair to deliberately order
that stuff knowing that it’s fake just in order to get it free because,
you know, teach the guys a lesson for crying out loud…
