Copper Refining From Copper Sulfate! Copper Metal Recovery!


hello everyone this is Broch Clinon Here I
am outside I have some copper sulfate right here and I put a little warm water
and air mix it up with it but today I’m showing you how to get copper out of
copper sulfate this could be a valuable technique for you because you can use it
and recycling scrapping this method is very inexpensive all I did was take a
piece of aluminum foil and put it inside the copper sulfate and as you can see I
got copper forming on the aluminum foil and what’s happening we’re getting a
single displacement reaction the aluminum is changing places would cover
because it’s more reactive sort of copper is falling out of the solution
onto the alumina fall at a low point of all this is falling into the solution
but is very valuable because as a scrapper you can get you some hot steaming hot
water put your scrap computer boards in it and let it sit for a while and
assured theoretically turn blue once that happens you put your piece of
aluminum fall in it and you should be able to pull your color of the solution
and collected over time and once that happens you can sell it to refineries
