2009-2014 F-150 Raptor Series 3″ Nerf Bar – Polished Stainless Steel Review & Install

What’s going on, guys? I’m Alex from AmericanMuscle.com and this
is my review and install of the Raptor Series 3in. Nerf Bar, fitting your 2009 through 2014 F-150. So in this video, I’m gonna break down the
construction, why these Nerf Bars might appeal to you, as well as the installation, which
right off the bat I’m gonna give a one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter
and you should have them on your truck in about one to two hours. If you’re the owner of a 2009 through 2014
F-150 and you’re looking to make the sides of your truck pop or add some protection,
then the Raptor Series 3in. Nerf Bars might just be for you. By adding the Raptor Series 3in. Nerf Bars to the side of your truck, you’re
not only going to be protecting it from any type of debris you may find on the road, but
also making it considerably easier getting inside and out, all the while not breaking
the bank, which I will touch on later in this video. In terms of construction, the Raptor Series
3in. Nerf Bars are going to be comprised of marine
grade T304 stainless steel. That’s gonna be for added strength and durability
and this is also gonna be finished in a high-polish shine, which is gonna be great for preventing
any type of corrosion down the road. Another great aspect about these Nerf Bars
are gonna be the three-inch molded pad that’s gonna come with a pretty cool-looking tire
tread pattern. Now these are gonna be great for all year
round to ensure that your foot stays on the bar where it belongs, getting in and out of
your F150. In terms of pricing, the Raptor Series 3in. Nerf Bars are gonna fall in line right around
$300. Now in comparison to Weston or Lund, you’ll
see them tip the scales at around $600. For the money here, you’re definitely getting
a huge bang for your buck here, all while protecting your investment and making it considerably
easier to enter and exit your vehicle. So as far as the installation goes, I’m gonna
give this again an easy one out of three wrenches because this is a true bolt-on install. Now no cutting or modification is going to
be required and again I’d say you can have these on your truck in about one to two hours. Before you install these, it’s gonna be a
good idea to make sure you’ve got a full socket set on site, as well as a torque wrench and
a hex bit set and I might even suggest getting an extra set of hands here, as this bar’s
a little bit on the heavier side. Just like any other side step or Nerf Bar
on the market, these are gonna install using your factory mounting points, which can be
found on the interior of your rocker panel. Now with an extra set of hands, as I said
in the beginning of the video, I would again give this about one to two hours to be installed
and again one out of three on the difficulty meter. All right, guys, just to wrap things up here:
if you’re the owner of a 2009 through 2014 F-150 and you’re not only looking to improve
the looks of your truck, but make it easier to get inside and out of your vehicle and
protect your investment, I would definitely suggest taking a look at the Raptor Series
3in. Nerf Bars right here at AmericanMuscle.com.
